In answer to a few questions... Yes, I am holding Blakers in front of a rack of porn dvds in that picture. I know it's a bit weird. That's exactly why his mom took a picture. posted by All at 6:25:00 p.m.
Right now, I'm working on staying in Toronto another week. posted by All at 3:39:00 p.m.
Today, a guy simultaneously hit on me and my mom.
While I must applaud his exceptional taste in women, I have to say I've never been so grossed out in my life.
No really. I swear I almost barfed.
I did barf, however, a couple of days ago. I was feeling ill, and I was frantically trying to find someone in my vicinity whose toilet I could borrow to barf in. So I'm calling a friend, and as I'm leaving the message, I pass Sam Raimi on the street.
Keith's answering machine has a message on it that sounds like this:
"Um... yeah... hi... I'm feeling really crap, and I was just wondering if I could come over and... Hey, I just passed Sam Raimi on the street. I just walked by St. Andrew's Poultry in Kensington Market, and Sam Raimi was walking the other way. Anyway, yeah, you're not there, so I'll talk to you later."
About ten minutes after that, I barfed all over Starbucks.
I don't know what this all means, but it may be a sign. posted by All at 5:42:00 a.m.

It was Gian Luca! Happy birthday, Gian Luca!
Actually, I'm not sure on the date, but it's sometime around now, isn't it?
Anyway, whatever. Hope you enjoyed it.
In other news, I spent yesterday and today catching up with my friends' children. Blakers and Junior, who totally rock, are respectively the children of Aleta and Keith.
Hmmm...
Maybe there's a less confusing way of putting this.
Junior is Keith's kid... He's totally cute and he's 2 and a half. To see pics of Junior, click here and scroll down.
Blakers is Aleta's monster. He's also totally cute, and he's 8 months. Aleta has lots of pictures of him on her site, including one with me. I must confess that Blake did not do that to my hair, though he would have made a handy excuse.
Anyway, these kids are not even slightly related. Except through me, which doesn't really count. But really, how awesome are they? posted by All at 5:27:00 a.m.

20 Gb is not enough! I'm trading up my iPod.
I'm getting lamer and lamer by the second. I can feel it. posted by All at 3:40:00 p.m.

Today is Miss Aleta's birthday, and in honour of Miss Aleta, I'm going to write an entry that is not only deep, but also, dare I say it, somewhat introspective.
No, no. That's just crazy talk. But happy birthday, anyway.
Oh yeah...
Happy birthday, Servos! Are you still in Cambodia? Or Calgary? Or LA? Anyway. Have a fun birthday wherever.
Hmmm...
There's someone else who has a birthday today that I'm missing. It'll come to me eventually, I guess. But in the meantime, whoever you are, you're just going to have to assume that I don't care.
Thursday, when I left my parents' house, I stopped briefly to clean out my bag of all its detritus. Included in this was a plastic bag whose purpose at the time escaped me. I dumped this thing on the hall table and then blithely left the house.
Later on, I remembered.
updaviddown had given me what was left of what he called "the best pot ever." And I left it on my parents' hall table.
Point 2:
I learned many things today, of which I will list three.
i) I miss having brunch with the ladies.
ii) Water under the bridge is exactly that and no more.
iii) My actual bra size. Not only a surprising piece of information but also handy to know. posted by All at 12:37:00 a.m.
